North Shore - Luke

Today, we went to the North Shore. We did multiple things there. First, we got shave ice. Shave ice is very popular in Hawaii and it IS called shave ice, not shaved ice. You get to pick your flavor for your shave ice. There are some odd flavors like passion, orange, guava (POG), pineapple, and passion fruit. After getting shave ice, we went snorkeling. Snorkeling was so fun! We saw so many cool fish. My favorite was a mainly black one with a blue tail and orange fins. We spent a good 45 minutes snorkeling out in the cove. Next, we went to get lunch at food trucks that were near. I spent about 20 minutes waiting for a cheeseburger with fries. After a quick lunch, we wanted to go to a waterfall to swim in, but it was too dirty, so the lady said it was closed. So, we decided to go to the Dole plantation. We took a train ride on the plantation, and then Jake did the (world's largest) maze. I tried the pineapple ice cream, but it tasted horrible. That was the end of the day. Now, we're going to go to karaoke from 9:30 to a later hour. Karaoke goes to 1:30 AM, but we won't stay that late.
